HIP is the best networking group I have been a part of. The events are always fun to attend because they are creatively planned, look fantastic, have killer entertainment, and are attended by great people. I always go thinking I will only stay a little while, and then find myself staying until the very end of the event. I just don't want to leave! Plus, they do a lot to help the community around them, and I like that I can be a part of that. I would suggest every planner become a part of the hippest group around!!

Dear HIP:
I greatly apologize for not reaching out to you soon. I hate doing email thank you’s but I felt this one is appropriate based on timing. I wanted to thank you again for choosing CIS to be the recipient of your backpack drive this year. You contributions had a great impact helping us to bring in over 1,000 backpacks that served 10 schools throughout the valley. I truly enjoyed your event at the Buttes and hope that you will keep us in mind for your future philanthropic and charitable endeavors.
Thank you!

Dear HIP:
What an incredible evening with HIP’s Putting for a Purpose on September 17. The event was wonderful from beginning to end, and we thank you for your generosity in selecting Community Dental Foundation as your charity. The Silent Auction created such a stir, and we were honored to receive your proceeds from the Auction for $2400.00. I understand an additional donation is on its way from the Tournament.
I want to thank you, and your Putting for a Purpose Team including Julie Dominici, President of HIP, as well as Alli Manz and Susan Bowlby. I also want to give special thanks to Karen Doan, of Karen Doan Events, for her vision in bringing this event to life. Hip can be very proud of their contribution to children’s oral health and the many dental services your donation will provide for these children in need.
We would like to present HIP with a Founding Tooth Fairy Sponsorship for Community Dental Foundation for their hospitality in raising dollars for this worthy cause. With this Sponsorship, you will be recognized on our website as a FOUNDING Sponsor FOREVER and given 5 seats to our Splendor in November - A Tooth Fairy Garden Party & Boutique which will be held on November 7 at the Fairmont Scottsdale. These tickets will be included at no expense to your organization in recognition of your effort and support. Come join the fun with a delicious luncheon, silent auction and great company!
HIP, we thank you for everything.
Sincerely,
Sandy Trudel, Director of Development

Dear HIP:
I am writing to share my sincere thanks on behalf of all of us here at the Watkins Shelter for HIP’s involvement and support. With your help, we were able to host a wonderful holiday party for the children here at the shelter on Sunday, December 14th. Your generous donations allowed us to organize a great event that featured Santa Claus distributing books and pajamas to the children here. The children loved having Santa visit and were so excited about their presents. It was a great chance for them to celebrate and enjoy the holidays, and take a break from the stress and uncertainty that can surround them.
It means so much for our families and our staff to have this type of community support, particularly during the holiday season, which can be uniquely challenging for low-income and homeless families. Visitors from the wider community help our clients feel valued and recognized, and the event was a treat for all who attended.
We thank you again for your generous support and involvement in this wonderful event.
Sincerely,
Cathleen Phela

I want to THANK YOU for your community Back to School Drive for the refugee families of The Welcome to America Project! You were able to collect enough supplies to help close to 100 individual children get a wonderful start in the classroom!
The Welcome to America Project is a non-profit that helps refugees in Phoenix. They are defined by the UNHCR as people who flee their country because of a well-founded fear of persecution or death due to their beliefs, their ethnicity, or their religion. They leave their homeland quickly with family, friends, and belongings tragically behind them. We are the new neighbors giving gifts of furniture, clothing, household items, and a message of peace. There is nothing that makes a child prouder than to bring new supplies to school with them.
We believe that your gift of school supplies brings a message of hope to the refugee children in Phoenix. In a very small way, it helps humanity because everyone has a right to feel that they belong in this world. That means having a home where they are welcome.
Sincerely,
Carolyn Manning

We wanted to thank you and Hospitality Industry Professionals very much for your generosity in not only bringing Santa Claus to the Holiday Party in the Family Dining Room but also in providing so many beautiful gifts. The Family Dining Room serves families of the working poor. Many of these family’s kids quite possibly received no other gifts for Christmas than yours. The families were very touched by your generosity as it was mirrored on the faces of their children!
On behalf of Jerry Castro, Manager of the St. Vincent de Paul Dining Room, I want to sincerely thank you for your willingness to serve others!
Sincerely,

I want to thank you for including us in your anniversary celebration! It means a lot to me that your organization is so passionate about the cause that I am dedicated to. Here are a few statistics you might find interesting as to how your donations make a difference: Since its inception, the Lance Armstrong Foundation has raised $250 million to support cancer survivorship programs and initiatives to make cancer a national priority. A sub program, the LAF Community Program, has granted $4,000,000 in financial support to non-profits nationwide During 2005-2006, LAF Community contributed $287,000 locally in AZ to special programs designed to help in cancer prevention and awareness.
The Lance Armstrong Foundation unites people to fight cancer, believing that unity is strength, knowledge is power, and attitude is everything.
Through the dollars and awareness that we raise, we can inspire and empower individuals, and we can make life better for the more than 10 million Americans affected by cancer.
* $10 provides information packets to 16 cancer survivors to offer support, inspiration and hope.
* $50 provides 35 people cancer survivorship information, worksheets to organize their fight against cancer and support, inspiration and hope from other cancer survivors.
* $155 provides a cancer survivor one-on-one direct support through the LIVESTRONG SurvivorCare program.
* $250 provides LIVESTRONG Survivorship Notebooks to 27 cancer survivors.
